1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how APM Towing LLC (“APM Towing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, protects, and discloses information when you request towing or roadside assistance, use an APM Dispatch tracking or payment link, communicate with us, or visit this website.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your name, mobile phone number, pickup and destination locations, GPS coordinates you choose to provide, vehicle information, service details, photographs, communications, payment status, transaction references, device and browser information, IP address, and records of your consent to receive service-related text messages. Payment card information is entered directly into Square’s secure checkout and is not stored by APM Dispatch.
3. How we use information
We use information to review and fulfill towing requests; assign and coordinate drivers; provide request confirmations, driver assignment notices, arrival and towing status updates, tracking links, and payment links; process and confirm payments; provide customer support; prevent fraud or misuse; maintain operational and consent records; comply with law; and protect customers, drivers, and our business.
4. SMS privacy and consent
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to any third parties.
APM Towing uses mobile information only to communicate about the specific towing request for which you opted in. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out stops further SMS messages, but we may still contact you by telephone when necessary to fulfill an active service request.
5. Service providers
We use service providers solely to operate the towing service and this website, including Supabase for application data, Twilio for SMS delivery, Square for payment processing, Cloudflare for hosting and security, and mapping providers for navigation and location display. These providers process information on our behalf under their own contractual and security obligations. We do not authorize them to use your mobile information or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
6. Disclosure of information
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to provide the service you requested, comply with law or legal process, protect safety or legal rights, investigate fraud, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. The SMS non-sharing commitments in Section 4 apply regardless of any other provision in this policy.
7. Data retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for service delivery, payment and accounting records, dispute resolution, consent and opt-out records, legal compliance, and legitimate operational needs. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices
You may decline SMS consent by leaving the checkbox unchecked. You may opt out after consenting by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. You may request access, correction, or deletion of information by contacting APM Towing, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
9. Children
This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
